This guide will take you through the steps of installing Microsoft’s latest OS, Windows 10 which was released in 2015. As we come closer to the end of life of Windows 7, it is inevitable for security conscious Windows users to upgrade to Windows 10 in order to continue getting security patches from Microsoft. In this tutorial, we are using a flash disk since we are installing on a notebook with no DVD drive.

Step 1: From the boot menu, select USB Storage and press Enter.
Step 2: Choose Language and click Next
Step 3: Click Install now.
Step 4: Choose a variant and click Next.
Step 5: Accept the license terms and click Next.
Step 6: Choose Custom
Step 7: Choose a partition and click Next.
Windows files will then be copied and installed.
Step 8: Enter a product key. You can skip this step if you don’t have one.
Step 9: Click Use Express setting
Step 10: Enter username and password, click Next and you are done.
