Digital solutions for e-learning and advent of artificial intelligence in the 21st century teachers and learners

In this presentation to Headteachers ICT Workshop in Mbale by UCC, led by Mukalele Rogers, explored the transformative impact of digital solutions and artificial intelligence (AI) in education. Emphasizing the flexibility, convenience, and personalized learning offered by e-learning, the workshop introduced various digital libraries and tools such as RACHEL, Kolibri Software, and Sharebility Uganda Elearning. AI’s role in automating administrative tasks, providing personalized learning experiences, and enhancing teaching effectiveness was highlighted. Strategies for successful implementation of digital solutions included policy development, continuous professional development, and establishing ICT clubs. Addressing potential misuse of ICT resources, the workshop advocated for strategic planning and sustainability in integrating technology into education.
